Tribeca Film Festival: April 23 - May 4, 2008

The Tribeca Film Festival in Brief: The first annual Tribeca Film Festival was launched in 2002 by Jane Rosenthal and Robert De Niro. The Tribeca Film Festival was founded to celebrate New York City as a major filmmaking center and to contribute to the long-term recovery of lower Manhattan. 2008 marks the seventh year of the Tribeca Film Festival, which has grown each year.
Things to Do at the Tribeca Film Festival:
Tribeca Film Festival Ticket Prices:
  • General Screening Ticket: $8-15
  • Panel Discussion Ticket: $25
  • Gala Screening Ticket: $25

Downtown residents, students and seniors can get $2 off general screenings ($3 off other tickets) when purchased at the box office. (Proof of status or residency required.)

Tribeca Film Festival Passes/Packages:
  • Hudson Pass ($1100): Full access to all screenings and panels, as well as invitations to gala screenings and lounges.
  • Franklin Package ($450)/Harrison Package ($200): General admission to 20(Franklin)/10(Harrison) screenings, with ticket choice before sale to the general public begins.
  • More Passes Available ($64-125): Whether you like documentaries or foreign films, the Tribeca Film Festival has a pass to suit your interests.
